About The Fairmont Jaspar Park Lodge (Jasper, AB)
The Lodge was opened in 1922 by the new Canadian National Railway and has grown to encompass 903 acres of pristine wilderness. Rooms and suites are situated in an Alpine Village of cedar chalets and heritage log cabins including the elegant six-bedroom Outlook Cabin, mostly recently used by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. All of the resort facilities are easily accessed on foot. For example, you can rent a kayak and paddle around the glacier fed lake bordered by several holes of the Stanley Thompson championship golf course. Other summer activities include tennis, biking, hiking, fishing, tennis, indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center. Enjoy unique local fare and Canadian favorites in your choices of restaurants.
