SANTA ANA GOLF CLUB (Santa Ana Pueblo)

Rated 4 stars Rating based on (5) customer reviews

Surcharge From $13.00

Rated four stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play," this 27-hole complex is a great option for golfers. Designed by Ken Killian and open since 1991, this club is considered by many to be one of New Mexico's finest daily fee facilities. The course is surrounded by majestic mountains and provides spectacular views of the 10,000-foot Sandia Peak. Although a desert course because of location, the course has many characteristics of a true links style course. In fact, the New York Times named Santa Ana as "one of America's three best true links-style golf courses."

The Gary Panks design at Twin Warriors Golf Club is arguably "the best golf that New Mexico has to offer." This 18-hole high desert design is routed through 20 ancient cultural sites of previous tribal habitation and activity. The course has beautiful natural features such as grassy knolls and ridges dotted with junipers and pines. You'll play through dry washes (or arroyos) and around interesting landscape such as the sacred butte known as Tuyuna (or "Snakehead"). Although only open a few years now, Twin Warriors has already hosted the PGA Club Pro Championship in 2003.
