Situated amid the shallow ravines and rolling hills of the Santa Cruz River Valley, Canoa Hills Golf Club is an enjoyable track that benefits tremendously from its natural setting. Located just 20 minutes south of Tucson in Southern Arizona's golf capital of Green Valley, the par-72 layout that opened for play in 1984 has become a fashionable selection for visitors to the area. The course features generous contoured fairways lined by native mesquite trees that lead to large bent grass greens, which are considered by many to be among the best putting surfaces in southern Arizona.

This classic club located on the eastern side of Tucson offers golfers of all skill levels a fun challenge on a traditional and playable layout. The course is nestled between the Catalina and Rincon mountains and rambles along a scenic wooded riverbed. Surrounded by mature mesquite, giant cottonwood, eucalyptus, and weeping willow trees, coupled with beautiful desert shrubbery and scenery, the course lends terrific visual appeal. Located about 1 hour south of Phoenix and minutes North of Tucson in Oro Valley, this desert course was built atop the natural landscape. The fairways afford generous landing areas, and the traditional greens are fast and well bunkered. Hole #8, a 389-yard, par 4, features a lake, which is the only water hazard on the course. The most difficult hole is #5, a 431-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a desert waste area while simultaneously avoiding the desert island on the right.

The Cañada course features the allure and challenge of high-desert golf. The natural terrain ncomes into play as fairways wind through ravines and arroyos. The challenge of this course is that it demands strategy and proper club selection. There's a lot of diversity on Cañada with extensive mounding, doglegs and elevation changes from tee to green. Many of the par 4's offer birdie opportunities for the risk versus reward type of player. The 183-yard, signature 8th hole, is considered by many to be the toughest par 3 in Tucson.

Conquistador is the resorts premier course, and recently renovated, the course provides an exceptional golf experience for all skill levels. The reshaped fairways and greens, and new turf grasses create a remarkably playable course that promises optimal fairway lies and fast, true-rolling greens. The new landscaping bordering the fairways means the desert rarely comes into play except as a beautiful backdrop. Conquistador offers an assortment of reachable par 5's and long par 4's with picturesque mountain vistas and elevation changes. The #16 signature hole boasts panoramic views of Pusch Ridge and necessitates that players avoid sixteen strategically placed bunkers to score well.

The Pusch Ridge course is a nine-hole delight that may serve as a warm-up for the two championship courses at the El Conquistador Golf Club, but Pusch Ridge provides challenging play for all skill levels. It is considered by some to be the best-kept secret in Arizona golf. Boasting a 175-foot change in elevation from start to finish, this par 35 layout is not to be taken lightly. The encompassing ravines and ridges in the mountain desert, indigenous cacti and trees, dramatic elevation changes, and small greens make for memorable rounds. The signature 380-yard, par 4, 5th hole is surrounded by water with a walkway to a tricky island green. The hole is considered one of the most scenic in Tucson and draws a variety of local wildlife, including blue heron and javelinas.
